36: Milk Run - December 8, 2023 (F)

Panel 1

[Pilcrow and the Asterism are in their bird-headed humanoid forms of a crow and three-eyed flamingo in a cozy study of the Black Manor at night. The Asterism is wearing an oversized off-white sweater and reading a book. Pilcrow is standing in a mustard-colored suit.]

Pilcrow: "We're out of cream for our tea, so I'm astrally projecting to the grocery store, skipping traffic and lines."

[He opens his mouth and his ghostly form, with a long ghostly tail that leads back into his mouth.]

The Asterism (distracted): "Hmm? Very well. Safe journey!"

Panel 2

[Pilcrow's ghost now appears to be lost in a colorful void.]

Pilcrow: "This seems incorrect. I should've taken a left at that asteroid belt."

Panel 3

Pilcrow: "I just wanted to have a proper tea..."

Panel 4

[Pilcrow returns to his normal body. The Asterism looks up from her book.]

The Asterism: "Did you deftly discern and deliver to the manor a measure of milk, as desired?"

Pilcrow (irritated): "In lieu of an answer, let me instead ask if you know where the car keys are."
