Panel 1

[Pilcrow and the Asterism are walking through a back garden of the Black Manor at night in their bird-headed humanoid forms of a crow and three-eyed flamingo. She is wearing a burnt orange dress and black choker. He's wearing a lavender suit over a white button-up with no tie. It's ominous with dark orange grass and a tombstone here and there.]

Pilcrow: "Asterism, I sense that something is bothering you on our evening walk. What's wrong?"

The Asterism: "Ever wonder why civilizations have so many names for me? It's like they're branding cosmic horror."

Panel 2

Pilcrow: "Each name's like a new flavor of existential dread. 'Now with more despair!'"

Panel 3

[The Asterism extends and curls her neck so that she can more easily look back at him]

The Asterism: "There's one that translates to 'Lady of the Lurking Fear.' Sounds like my goth phase."

Panel 4

Pilcrow (amused): "Don't forget 'The Shadow That Sighs.' That makes you sound like cosmic background noise."

The Asterism (visibly annoyed): "Remind me after dinner to curse the cult that calls me that into ruin and despair."
