34: Idle Confusion - December 4, 2023 (M)

Panel 1

[Pilcrow and the Asterism are standing in a hallway in the Black Manor in their bird-headed humanoid forms of a crow and three-eyed flamingo. They're relatively casual in buttoned-up shirts.]

The Asterism: "Behold! A day off beckons – it is time for an interlude of inactivity, a respite from our cosmic conundrums."

Panel 2

Pilcrow: "You mean a period dedicated to non-action? How peculiar and perplexing. How exactly do we do that?"

Panel 3

[Later, they're in an arboretum in their purely bird forms.]

The Asterism: "We use this time to idle, to luxuriate in the lack of the usual undertakings. Like relaxing here in the solarium!"

Panel 4

[Later yet, they're at the Black Manor's pool, back in their bird-headed humanoid forms. Pilcrow is wearing sunglasses and plaid swimming shorts, he's holding a ticking watch. The Asterism is wearing a teal two-piece swimming suit.]

The Asterism: "Or enjoying time at our pool!"

Pilcrow: "Is there an optimal duration for relaxation before we are complete? I fear I'm not performing this 'lounging' correctly."
