Panel 1

[Pilcrow and the Asterism are sitting on a couch in a parlor in the Black Manor, watching their TV set, in their bird-headed humanoid forms of a crow and three-eyed flamingo. Pilcrow is wearing a light blue button-up shirt. The Asterism is wearing ]

The Asterism: "There's nothing good on."

Pilcrow: "You know what could solve this? The Rite of the Thousand-Eyed Watchers."

Panel 2

[The view shifts to Pilcrow in his crow form with goggling purple eyes standing on the rocky shore of a lake of lava on an alien planet as he speaks in his ominous voice that he usually reserves for prophecies.]

Pilcrow: "With vision beyond the veil of reality, we would see all shows across all realities simultaneously for all time!"

Panel 3

[The view abruptly shifts back to the living room.]

The Asterism: "And we'd be subjected to witnessing every horror, across all nightmares. Who needs TV when you've got eternal torment as entertainment?"

Panel 4

Pilcrow: "The variety of programming would be unparalleled!"

[The Asterism gets up from a couch.]

The Asterism: "I think I'll just go read a book."
