73: Doppelganger - March 8, 2024 (F)
Panel 1
[The Asterism, in her three-eyed flamingo bird form, has entered into a parking lot behind a store near a dumpster. She encounters what looks like Pilcrow in his crow form, but with dazed eyes and holding a pizza slice in his beak.]
The Asterism: "Pilcrow? There you are! Where have you been?"
Crow: "Cawww!"
The Asterism: "Let's go! It's time to return to the Manor!"
Panel 2
Narrator: "Later..."
[The Asterism enters the kitchen of the Black Manor in her bird-headed humanoid form of a three-eyed flamingo. She is wearing an orange wrap-around dress and looking irritated as she finds 'Pilcrow' still in his crow form and holding the pizza slice on the kitchen counter.]
The Asterism: "Pilcrow! We've been back for hours and you continue to just stand there with that pizza. If you won't return to your manor guise, I will compel you!"
[The Asterism's neck stretches out and her eyes float around her as she casts a spell.]
The Asterism: "SOVEREIUS INTERREGNUM!"
[The crow begins to glow.]
Crow: "Caw?"
Panel 3
[The crow has transformed into a bird-headed humanoid form of a crow. Some feathers stick out messily from the top of his head, his eyes still looked dazed, he's unusually plump compared to Pilcrow, and he's undressed. The Asterism looks concerned.]
Crow-man: "Caww? Pee-za? Snak moar face smashen!"
The Asterism: "Something's gone quite amiss here."
Voice from off-panel: "Asterism, I'm back!"
Panel 4
[The Asterism turns to see... Pilcrow? He is looking like his 'normal' bird-headed humanoid form of a crow, wearing a stylish lavender suit over a white button-up shirt. The Asterism looks startled.]
Pilcrow: "You would not believe what I found in the Market of Fell Riannesh!"
The Asterism: "Pilcrow?"
Pilcrow: "Who else would I be?"
[One of the Asterism's three eyes rotates back to notice that the other 'Pilcrow' has gone missing.]
The Asterism: "Wait, where did he disappear to? I... may have made a small blunder."
